Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 June 2026

1Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By connecting your digital wallet or accessing the Roamr platform, you agree to these Terms. To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old and have the full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, including the management of digital assets.

2Wallet Connections & Account Security

Non-Custodial Nature: Roamr does not operate a web3 wallet or hold your private keys. Your account is tied directly to your public wallet address. You are solely responsible for securing your wallet, private keys, and seed phrases.

Unauthorized Access: Roamr is not liable for any losses resulting from compromised wallets, unauthorized smart contract (self-executing digital agreements) interactions, or phishing attacks.

3Cryptocurrency Payments & Volatility

Pricing & Slippage: Travel bookings are priced against fiat currency (government-issued money like USD) but may be settled in cryptocurrency. Due to market volatility, the required crypto amount may fluctuate until the transaction is fully confirmed on the blockchain network.

Gas Fees: You are responsible for all network transaction fees (gas fees) required to execute on-chain payments. These fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether a booking succeeds or fails.

4Third-Party Travel Providers

The Intermediary Role: Like Skyscanner, Roamr is a discovery and coordination layer, not an airline, hotel, or venue provider. All travel logistics, flights, and accommodations are fulfilled by our third-party travel partners.

Provider Terms: When you complete a booking, you are entering into a direct contract with that travel provider. Roamr is not responsible for flight cancellations, delays, quality of service, or luggage losses.

5Code of Conduct & Event Coordination

Roamr is a social travel platform designed to coordinate group trips for internet communities. You agree not to use the platform to harass, dox (publicly reveal private information), or scam other community members. Roamr reserves the right to disconnect your wallet and restrict access to community travel pools if you violate this code of conduct.

6Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

Roamr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for blockchain network failures, smart contract bugs, or losses incurred due to liquidity issues or token depeging (when a stablecoin loses its 1:1 fiat value).
